Overview
Json Into Toon ("we," "us," "the site") provides free, browser-based tools for converting between JSON, TOON, YAML, CSV, XML, and other data formats. This policy explains what data we collect, what we don't, and how the two are handled differently.
The Conversion Tools: Nothing You Paste Is Uploaded
Every tool on this site — the JSON/TOON/YAML/CSV/XML converters, formatter, minifier, diff checker, log viewer, and the rest — runs entirely as JavaScript inside your own browser. The data you paste into an input box is processed locally on your device and is never sent to our servers or any third party. Closing the tab discards it completely. We have no record of what you convert.
The Contact Form
If you use the contact form, the name, email address, subject, and message you submit are sent to our backend messaging service so we can read and reply to you. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry — we do not sell it, add you to a mailing list, or share it with advertisers.
Cookies and Analytics
As of this policy's last update, this site does not use analytics or tracking cookies. If we add website analytics (to understand traffic patterns) or advertising (see below) in the future, we will update this policy to describe exactly what's added and update the "Last updated" date above.
Advertising
This site may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks, such as Google AdSense, to help cover hosting costs. If and when ads are enabled:
- The ad network may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings, or generally through aboutads.info.
- Ad networks operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review — for example, Google's advertising privacy policy.
Ad-serving code, if enabled, does not have access to the data you paste into any conversion tool — that data never leaves your browser regardless of whether ads are present on the page.
Third-Party Links
Our pages link to external sites, including the TOON format's GitHub repository and the tools listed on our Partners page. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of external sites — please review their own policies.
Children's Privacy
This site is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes, and for material changes (such as enabling ads or analytics for the first time) we'll describe the change directly in the relevant section above.
